SriLankan Airlines flights diverted to Mattala

Due to adverse weather conditions in Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport, two of the passenger flights operated by SriLankan Airlines have been diverted to Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport on the 16 July 2018.

 

The SriLankan flight UL226 from Dubai operated onboard Airbus A330-243 (4R-ALH) was scheduled to arrive at Colombo at 04:55 am was diverted to Mattala and returned to Colombo at 07:27 am.

 

 

The SriLankan flight UL142 from Mumbai operated onboard Airbus A321-25N (4R-ANE) was scheduled to arrive at Colombo at 05:35 am was diverted to Mattala and returned to Colombo at 07:42 am.

 

The Duty Manager of Bandaranaike International Airport says none of the passengers of the two flights (UL226 & UL142) did exit at Mattala.
